O'Sullivan V Chuang

China in his hands!

Forget about the off-table stuff, the facts speak for themselves. O'Sullivan, is streets ahead on the table.

The stats speak for themselves. In a season that would only be considered ordinary by his standards he tops the list in all but one category.

He is 5.86 points per frame better than his closest rival. He has made nine centuries more than anyone else this season, and makes a 50 break every 1.86 frames.

On paper those stats suggest that he is unbeatable. But we all know differently, as Ronnie's demons beat him as often as anyone else does.

Last time he was in hot water after walking out of the UK Championship quarter-final, his return was at the Masters where he brought some of his opponents to tears literally!

We expect Ronnie to be at his best in Sheffield and if he is, then the title is a done deal.

Chaung on the other hand, will be an excited teenager who has already won five matches to get here. He is not without talent, as his stats show, and could cause what would be a major upset.

However, we think this is one match too far for the Chinese youngster and think O'Sullivan will cruise into the second round.
