Doherty V Wenbo
Chinese take-away Ken!
The Chinese snooker revolution has been predicted for a number of years, and the signs are that it is almost here.
Three mainland players and Hong Kong's Fu feature in the 32-man field this year in Sheffield. And for us Wenbo looks like the real deal.
Crafty Ken will have his work cut out with this virtual unkown.
OK, he has showed a slight return to form in 2008, with a semi-final berth at the Masters and reaching the final of The Malta Cup in the following week.
Wenbo on the other hand might lack experience at the business end of tournaments but just look at his stats. He is second only to O'Sullivan making a 50-break every two frames. If he produces this kind of form, there wont be any Irish eyes smiling.
