Davis V Bingham
End of an era?
It would take a brave man (or woman for that matter) to write off 'The Nugget'. Six-times champion, Davis has dropped out of the top-16 before and bounced back. But, certain to be in the qualifiers next season, it is difficlut to see a way back for a man who we think should have been given The Crucible in the 80s.
Bingham, has never quite fulfilled his promise since winning the IBSF World Amateur championship in 1996. However, the statistics would indicate that he has just a little too much ammunition and should overcome 50-year-old Davis.
Experience surely counts for something? We can't see it somehow!
