Robertson V Maguire

British TV star, Patrick Kielty said recently that "long pots and big breaks were like a girl walking past in a short skirt, and tactical safety battles were like the girl you would think about marrying". Well this is likely to be a very short skirt!

Two of the game's most attacking players going head-to-head over 25 frames. Robertson has struggled to find the form that took him to two titles last season but has recently showed signs of getting back to his best. He seems to like the Crucible, although he has finished on the wrong side of tight finishes over the past couple of years.

2008 could provide more of the same for the Aussie, as this one could go close. Maguire is brimming with confidence this year and after reaching the last four in 2007, will want to go at least one better this time.

Robertson will be a handful though, the stats clearly indicate a win for Maguire, but if you like a value bet, then that is what you have with the left-hander.
