Bingham V Perry
Joe Perry is one of the most under-rated players in the game.
He has found some real form in 2008, with a decent run in Wales, he has started to score very heavily, a facet of the game which is key to success in Sheffield.
Three centuries against Dott in the opener, suggests that kind of form is still there.
Bingham's "A-game" is as good as the rest of them, but seemingly lacks a "B-game" and can too often gift his opponent chance after chance.
Perry is comfortable over the longer distance, with good records at both the world and UK championships. The stats tell the story this time, and Perry is likely to prove a little too strong for Steve Davis' conqueror.
