Magical Masters Moments
1984 is probably best remembered for Kirk Stevens. The man in the white suit and the first Maximum break in Masters history, and until last year the only Maximum in Masters history - sorry Ken!!!
We prefer to remember 1984 for the Oak table and a certain Jimmy White's first title.
Who remembers Jimmy's 119 break to beat Kirk in the semi-final? He played two of the best shots ever seen on TV to finish the match - "they don't play 'em like that nowadays"!
