Magical Masters Moments
There was a real Magical Masters Moment in 1979, when the tournament was moved from its previous home at the New London Theatre, to the Wembley Conference Centre,
It remained there until the bulldozers moved in, in 2006 to make way for the new Wembley Stadium Complex.
28 years of snooker history unfolded in the Magical Conference Centre. The atmosphere was second to none, especially when the Whirlwind of London Town was blowing in front of his adoring hometown fans.
The Conference Centre may be no more, but there will be a special place in the hearts of snooker players and fans for all time!
