Cuefactor Maximum Breaks
The fastest Maximum 147 break in history was made during the 1997 world snooker championship. It took just five minutes and twenty seconds to pot 15 reds with 15 blacks followed by the colours, a total of 36 pots.
‘Cuefactor Maximum Breaks’ gives young snooker players the chance to make their very own 'Maximum Break'.
Each young player will get five minutes and twenty seconds and a maximum of 36 shots to score as many points as possible.
Normal snooker rules apply, in that a red ball must be potted and followed by a nominated colour. If a player misses, there is no need to worry, as long as the shots or time limit has not been exceeded.
The competition will form part of the Paul Hunter Foundation “Kids Into Snooker” programme.
