IBSF World Champion in 1987 and World Masters champion twenty years later, Morgan was a top player on the World Snooker tour in the years between.
His most notable achievement as a professional was winning the 1996 Benson & Hedges Irish Masters, beating Steve Davis 9-8 in the final
The proudest moment of his career though, came when he captained Wales to victory in the 1999 Nations Cup.
A semi-final spot at the 1994 World Championship, was the pinnacle of his impressive Crucible career. He lost out to Jimmy White, although he defeated Ken Doherty, John Parrott, and Ronnie O'Sullivan at Sheffield’s home of snooker.
A total of 111 centuries in his career, puts him in the top 25 in the all-time break list.
Morgan, who owns The Red Triangle Snooker Club and is President of the Welsh Billiards and Snooker Association, is committed to developing the skills of young players.
