Dale's Flying Start

The Shanghai Masters gets the 2007/08 season off to an early start and Cuefacts takes a look at the performances in the recent qualifying rounds at Pontin’s, Prestatyn.

Wales’ Dominic Dale is setting the early pace with an impressive five-nil win over Rory Mcleod.  The performance was good enough to lead five of the seven categories.

Other players who are showing signs of good form are Mike Dunn, who won three matches to book his place in Shanghai, Scott Mackenzie and despite falling at the final hurdle, Liang Wenbo once again looks good and is one of Cuef@cts tips to look out for throughout the season.

We are also sticking with Jamie Burnett – despite losing 5-3 to Wenbo, he bagged a brace of centuries.  The Scot scores too heavily not to produce a good run at some point – so watch out for him this season!
