First Class or Economy?

Mark Williams defends his title, but who will he and the rest of the top 16 need to look out for in Beijing?

Cuef@cts takes a look at who played first class and who played economy in booking their seats on the flight to the Far East.

Alfie Burden and Ian Preece went the long way around needing to win four matches each. Burden got the better of David Gray and despite averaging an impressive 64 points per frame, Robert Milkins went down 5-3 against Ian Preece in their final qualifier.

Joe Jogia beat his personal best break in making a 136 and with convincing wins over Ricky Walden and Alan McManus could cause some problems in China.

Jamie Cope will feature in the final stages once again after winning 83.33% of his frames against Scott Mackenzie and Ryan Day.

Ian McCulloch, Joe Swail and Jimmy White topped the scoring averages with McCulloch averaging nearly 74 points per frame.

Despite losing at the final hurdle, Cuef@cts still shows that Jamie Burnett is in fine form and we expect him to improve considerably on his current world ranking before the end of the season.
