Swail gets the vote here – he beat Williams in round 2 in 2001 and has twice reached the semi-final. A high percentage of frame wins but not in emphatic style so not at his best. Lets face cuef@cts though, since winning the Pot Black Cup at the RAC Club in September, it has been a nightmare season for Williams. It doesn’t look good for the Welshman, but be wary. It shouldn’t be ignored that is a two-time winner at Sheffield and the birth of his second son, could motivate him to get back to where many believe he should be.
