Don’t expect this one to be a classic. Cuef@cts says it will be close, and it could even go all the way. Hicks has the better record at Sheffield having reached the last four in 1995. Carter has shown signs of some good form lately. He reached the semi final recently in Malta and the last-eight in Wales, and had O’Sullivan on the ropes in China. These results should give him enough confidence to get through.
